I want to honour and celebrate John's memory by raising money for the Epworth Medical Foundation (EMF).

EMF raises essential funds to provide exceptional care for patients at Epworth, a not-for-profit, private hospital group. Your support goes to world-class medical equipment, innovative research and compassionate patient programs.

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we have to farewell our beloved husband, father and grandfather (Papa) John.

He was a gentle and caring man who cared so much for his family and friends. He endured through so much in his final years, no man should have to go through. 
But he did it without complaining and just got on with living as best he could while immersing himself in his grandchildren's lives!

Throughout all the treatments (where he rarely complained) - blood transfusions, chemotherapy, platelet transfusions and assistance at the end. 
The staff at the Epworth were exemplary in their assistance and care. It is because of this that instead of flowers we would like donations made to the Epworth Medical Foundation.
