I've created this page in memory of Bruce Maple.
I am wanting to honour Bruce’s life and celebrate his memory through giving back to Epworth Centre for Immunotherapies and Snowdome Laboratories, which is performing ground-breaking research into blood cancers.
When Bruce was diagnosed with Angioimmunoblastic T cell Lymphoma non-Hodgkin we had no idea what it all meant except that it was very serious.
We felt we were given a second chance in life thanks to A/Prof Costas Yannakou, who we will be always hugely grateful for. Costas gave us the strength to fight every step of the way and words cannot express how happy we were hearing Bruce was in remission.
Sadly, my Bruce was taken by MRSA (golden) staph, who would have thought.
If anyone wants to help support Costas’ cause, which we do, please donate to his cause. It would mean a lot to us.
