Walking for Kids with Allergies
I will be walking in Melbourne, Australia to support the Australian Food
Allergy Foundation's and the Epworth Medical Foundation's "Centre for
Paediatric Allergies" to find new and better ways to treat and care for
children and infants with paediatric allergies - and would love your support!
Since 2017, I have volunteered my time to support the Australian Food Allergy Foundation. As an individual with mild food allergies, I am a true believer that we are products of our environment. And, in turn, our environment can drastically impact our health and life experiences.
The alarming growth of children and adults diagnosed with food allergies is one such example.
Melbourne and Australia are now recognised as 'allergy capitals' of the world.
This sparked my interest to join this cause and assist with addressing fundamental questions as to 'Why?' through leading scientific research, finding solutions, treatments and possible cures, and offering support to the community together with our partners.
When not supporting philanthropic interests, and with a strong passionate interest in our places, buildings, and the environment; as a lawyer and engineer, William is an Assistant Director for the Commonwealth of Australia, serving the Australian public, and operates his own consulting business.
