Rod has been a keen sportsman his whole life, playing district cricket and playing in the 2nd 18s for Collingwood Football Club.
Rod has been a member of Rosanna Golf Club for 54 years and been awarded life membership.
He is also a 64-year member of the Melbourne Cricket Club.
He loves his friends and family and having a drink and a banter!
Rod turns a milestone birthday on 1 September and has requested gifts be directed towards prostate cancer research at Epworth in lieu of presents.
