I'm walking to support Epworth find new and better ways to diagnose, treat and care for people with prostate cancer!
As I get older, men I know are being affected by prostate cancer. I recently attended the funeral of a friend who died too young and have several friends who are battling this disease at present.
From my close friend Trudy who works with Nano knife technology, I have learnt that there have been major advances in the treatment of this disease which help reduce some of the side effects that men dread and fear.
I hope to raise awareness of this disease and encourage the men I know to have regular health checks so that they have the best chance of successfully treating it.
